Welcome to my Game On Cancer fundraising page!
To my Family and Friends:
I would like to share a story about how I got involved with Game on Cancer. In the Fall of 2015 my mom was diagnosed with Amalodois a form of Multiple Myloma. (Cancer) When you hear the word Cancer, you have so many questions. There is so much of the unknown. Fortunately we have a outstanding Dr. at Henry Ford Allegiance. He is very good in explaining things to us. My mom has been in the hospital a couple times, gotten several blood transfusions, chemo treatments, water retention mainly in her legs, physical therapy, lots of blood draws, been sent to the University of Michigan for a second opinion. There were days she had a hard time getting out of bed, was and still is light headed and dizzy. She wasn't able to drive for awhile which made it hard on her. With the support of her kids we were able to get through the tough times. I am happy to say at this moment mom is doing good. #cookstrong
Personal Goal is to raise $1000 for the cause. You can help me by joining my Team, making a donation and sharing this with others. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.
If you have a Cancer story and would like to share it with me I will add it to my page.
The money that is raised at Henry Ford Allegiance Health will stay in Jackson and help out our patients.

Game On Cancer is a joint partnership between Henry Ford Health System, The Detroit Lions and The Detroit Pistons. 100% of funds raised through Game On Cancer are used to assist cancer patients and their families. Our mission is to remove any barrier or burden, financial or otherwise, that limits or prohibits cancer patients from receiving care and treatment.
By assisting vulnerable patients, their families and their care-givers with the “hidden” costs of cancer, we are ensuring access to treatment for all – serving one patient at a time. Game On Cancer also provides funding for critical research and supportive oncology programs.
You can also help me reach my goal by sharing this page on Facebook! Or, send an e-mail to friends you think might be interested in contributing and include a link to my page!
Thanks so much for your support for joining me in to fight cancer!
