To Fight Cancer, You Need a Team - One That is Tougher Together
But even the tough need champions, and that’s where Game On Cancer and our Pet Companions come into play.
This past March I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I am 32 years old. My amazing surgeon Dr. Laura Dellivachia removed a 13cm tumor while performing a double mastectomy. Sadly, they found cancer in a lymph node and I stared my treatment In April, chemotherapy and now I am on my radiation treatment. I am also a healthcare worker, as a nurse aide at McLaren. Due to the outbreak of covid and my compromised immune system while on chemo I was home from work for 6 months. My dog Sam, has always been there no matter what. After my surgery for weeks he would lay in front of me. I think a form of protection. He is the best dog ever, I don't think I would have made it through mentally, without my dog, son, family and friends. Cancer sucks, being strong and confident helps in recovery. Please consider my dog Sam. He is an AMERICAN BULLDOG, MASTIFF mix. And has been there through thick and thin, with my cancer, being a single mom, and he always brings a smile to others as what I would like to think of as "the parking lot dog", of the school my son attends, St. Mary’s in Mt. Clemens. God Bless! Never stop the fight!
Please vote for me! Every dollar is a vote that also helps area cancer patients and their families.
Cancer is a thief. It’s a disease that can steal not just health, but financial well-being, too. Imagine if cancer depleted your funds so you could no longer afford transportation to your chemotherapy appointments or buy healthy food.
I am raising money for Game On Cancer to ensure patients can get to their appointments, keep the lights on in their home and have access to life-saving medications. 100% of every dollar raised supports this mission and 100% is used locally.
Please join me and our Game On Cancer champions with a donation today? Your support will allow us to continue expanding services, research and financial assistance to thousands of people in our community every year. We are tougher together.
