Who can attend the culmination event at Ford Field on December 9?
Any registered participant that raises at least $125 or above.
Are children or guests allowed to the culmination event?
Children 5 and under are free to attend with a registered participant. All participants that raise a minimum of $125 may bring ONE guest to the culmination event.
I want to run in the Detroit Free Press Marathon - how do I register?
We have formed teams for the 5K, Half Marathon (US Only), and Full Marathon on October 15-16, and would love for you to join us. On the home page of our website, join a team, and search for the team that corresponds with the race you will be running. When asked for participation type, choose the type according to your race - 5K, Half Marathon (US Only), or Full Marathon.
Race- Fundraising Goals
If the minimum fundraising amount has not been raised by October 10, 2016, you will be invoiced for the full minimum fundraising requirement. This ensures that the Game On Cancer patient fund is not being used for any participation related costs and we can ensure mission dollars are being spent appropriately.
Once registered, Game On Cancer will provide:

How many people are required for a team?
There is no minimum or maximum number required- we just ask that all members on your team are engaged in the campaign and actively fundraising.
Who should checks be written out to?
Henry Ford Health System.
What do I do with cash or check donations?
1. Please convert cash donations to a check or, preferably, a credit card donation on your webpage.
2. Checks can be A) Made out to you and converted to a donation on your webpage or B) Made out to Henry Ford Health System and sent to us in the donation envelope included in your welcome packet. You can add cash and check donations to your webpage by selecting “Enter Offline Donation” in your Participant Center.

If I have a fundraising event, how should funds raised be submitted to Game On Cancer?
Option 1: Personally collect ALL funds (cash and checks made out to you) and at the conclusion of your event, make one online deposit on your Game On Cancer page.
Option 2: Personally collect ALL funds (cash and checks made out to you) and write ONE check to Henry Ford Health System. Include team name or individual fundraiser name(s) with your check.
