Welcome to my Game On Cancer fundraising page!

As many of you know in 2016 my husband was diagnosed with stage 3 melanoma. Our entire world was turned upside down and we went through a whirlwind of events following this diagnosis.  At Kevin's first immunotherapy appointment we were telling the nurse that the surgeon told us to start a supplement that would help with healing after his upcoming major surgery.  This was not covered by insurance and not something we had the extra money to buy.  That day we were introduced to one of my absolute favorite people at Henry Ford... our social worker Ted. We told Ted about the position we were in and his response was what if we paid for this for you?  I was in tears.. He told us about Game On Cancer and we knew we wanted to be a part of it. The next year we created Team Kevy Bear. 

Game On Cancer helped my family and so many others during an incredibly hard time in our lives.  Not only did they purchase this supplement for Kevin, they also helped pay for our utilities, groceries and even Christmas gifts while he was on short term leave from work.
