From an Infusion Line to an Ironman Finish Line
Welcome to my Game On Cancer fundraising page!
The hardest thing I’ve ever done was tell my kids “I have cancer.” The second hardest thing was to fight thru months and months of treatment. It felt like I had hit ground zero by the time I finished. I was blessed to have the support of my family, friends, colleagues, and others, including Game on Cancer. I also saw first-hand the difference being a part of the Game on Cancer Kids Club had on Benjamin. We are fans of GoC for sure...always will be!
The mission of Game On Cancer is to remove any barrier or burden, financial or otherwise, that limits or prohibits cancer patients from receiving care and treatment. 100% of your donation is used to ease the burden of a patient fighting to survive cancer.
My team name is Tri2Thrive. Tri as in Triathlete. If you follow me on Instagram or Facebook, you know that I’m training for Ironman Indiana. It’s my way of coming back better than I was before cancer, to remember those that have fought the good fight, and to give back by helping other cancer patients. Everyone who joins and donates to the Tri2Thrive GoC team will be swimming, biking and running 140.6 miles with me on October 2nd. It’s easy- just click on donate. You can also help by sharing my fundraising page to LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter by text or by email.
Thanks so much for your generosity, support and encouragement!
